Portfolio
Expectations

The goal of this project is to give you a fully functional and complete portfolio that you can use to apply for jobs in the future or to just keep a hold on all the designs that you have created in your Adobe classes. You will create an interactive PDF that includes all of your best student work, your resume, cover letter and interactive features that will function much like your own personal website.
What is a portfolio?

A graphic design portfolio is the visual representation of all you have accomplished so far and symbolises what you hope to achieve in the future. Competition is fierce – you need to stand out. To push your portfolio to the front, it helps to know what to include and what to leave out.

Design should include
  • 1920px x 1080px | minimum 9 pages | .5" margins

  • Pages - Home, resume, portfolio, contact, potentially an Acheievements page, for awards or certifications

  • Subpages - Under portfolio you should have a minimum of 5 pages dedicated to 1 project per page.

  • Easy to use navigation

  • Clean and easy to read text

Techniques to include
  • Each page should be uniquely designed, clean and professional, representing you well while keeping consistent.

  • The portfolio should have many file types added including AI, PSD, JPG, PNG, SVG

  • All files should be embedded

  • All text should be changed to outlines.
