What to know.

These courses are designed to be taught in a classroom mixing lessons and projects in a way to amplify practical knowledge while building your personal graphic tool box. If you are attempting to do this online only I recommend using the tutorials page.

Late Work

Classwork -  will stay open 7 days from the due date.

Projects - will lose 10% of overall grade per day late

  • Only have 2 attempts to submit any project for grading.

  • All work must be turned into the right assignment in order to gain credit.

  • This is a deadline based industry so students will be held accountable.

Grading

Classwork: (50%) Students are expected to keep up with daily classwork assignments. This will consist of completing small design challenges with attached worksheets and videos on how to complete correctly. These lessons are designed to help students better understand certain aspects of the programs.

Projects: (50%) These are larger design challenges that are designed to replicate a real world work pace and style. These are bi-weekly or monthly challenges that students can work on at their own pace and skill level in order to ensure they are constantly growing and learning.

  3. Once signed in the apps should say download or install.  Hit the three dots and download the version that is listed below. (If they say start trial then you need to sign into your school Adobe ID)

Respect

The teacher, each other and the equipment

Respect is something that should be given to every person you meet, that is called being respectful and is how you earn respect from other people.

Be on time

Get to class before the bell

Being on time shows your repect for other people and their time. It is impossible to be respected if you are constantly disrespecting other people.

Phone away

Learning requires participation

You have to be an active participant in your own education. If you can not respect yourself and your own future, how can anyone else do it?

Show effort

Effort = Everything

What you gain out of life will be a direct reflection of the effort that you put into it. If you are not doing the work for yourself, then why should other people?

Be kind

Kindness shows courage

Everyone is fighing a battle everyday by themselves. Happiness is not easy to attain and we could all use a helping hand getting there. Be helpful!!

Have Fun!

You really could be sitting in math class.

Enjoy and pay attention to the small things and little moments that make life the wonderful place that it is.
