Illustrated Book Cover Expectations

The goal of book cover design is convey to the audience as much about the story as possible in just a single piece of artwork. To give some glimpse into the story so that the consumer might take interest and to stick out when sitting on a book shelf with thousands of other books.
Choose your book

You preferably should have read this book and know the content of the book but often times as a designer we have to design for things we have not read or do not know about.
