Greeting Card Expectations

You are to create a gridded holiday card with a headline on the front and a message inside the of the card for the intended recipient or a more vague message that will allow you to customize your card for other recipients. You will create three rough drafts of your card and then narrow down to your final design. This will be printed out for you to distribute over the holidays to friends and family if you would like so make sure it represents you well.
What is a Greeting Card?

Greeting cards are a reflection of your sentiment during any season and often make family and friends feel better. You can make someone smile with a heartfelt message or a funny photo they can't get anywhere else.

Main Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 graphics on the cover

  • Minimum of 3 graphics inside the card

  • Headline text on the cover

  • Paragraph text on the inside right

  • Your vector logo on the back

  • A good color scheme

Technical Requirements
  • Custom frame shapes

  • Custom grid system on front

  • At least 1 frame with rounded corners

  • Clean text that is easy to read

  • Double leaded text on the inside

  • Text on a path used

  • File Name: yourname_greeting
    (ex. dtripp_greeting)

  • File Size: 5 inch by 7 inch

  • Orientation: Portrait

  • Pages: 2

  • Spreads: 2

  • Resolution: 300 ppi

  • File Format: .indd, .pdf, .zip

InDesign File (.indd)

PDF File (.pdf) set to Spreads

Zip File (.zip)

This can not grade this assignment properly without a ZIP file including all resources used. In order to get full credit you need to attach two files to this assignment below is how to create those files.
