Expectations

To use the offered template to design your own personal CubeCraft character. You will need to first study the template to make sure you know what you are looking at and then you will need to use shapes to create the character you would like. 
Choose your character

Your character should be one that you are very familiar with, as you will be unlikely to find images to trace for all sides. You will have to make up many elements as you go. 

What is expected
  • Document used correctly

  • Shapes created using minimal anchor points

  • Good use of Pen Tool & Shape Tool

  • File saved and submitted correctly

Requirements
  • Download the template and name it correctly

  • Gain an understanding of what shapes will go where

  • Each shape needs to be designed in some way (No blank spaces)

  • Design that shows your capabilities

  • Work at a quick pace in order to complete

  • Submitted on time

  • Assemble the template correctly

File information
  • File Name: yourname_cube
    (ex. dtripp_cube)

  • File Size: use the template

  • Orientation: Landscape

  • Artboards: You may create multiple if you would like

  • Resolution: 150 ppi

  • File Format: .ai, .eps & .jpg

What to turn in

Illustrator File (.ai)

EPS File (.eps)

JPG File (.jpg)

This cannot be graded properly without an AI file. In order to get full credit you need to attach two files to this assignment below is how to create those files.
